If you’re having trouble reading webpages, the US Social Security Administration has provided the following tips for optimising your computer and browser to improve your online experience.

  • Colors for the background and text can be changed.
  • Increase your mouse cursor’s visibility (Windows only)

Continue reading if you wish to explore websites and online services using only your voice and a speech-to-text tool like Dragon Naturally Speaking. You can use your voice to direct the attention of your browser or application screen with this software. For persons who are deaf or hard of hearing, there are numerous accessibility options.

Closed captioning is available (Closed Caption)

Closed captioning is a written transcript that is synced with the visual and audio components of an audio presentation. Captions are frequently presented above the video, which is useful for persons who are deaf or hard of hearing, as well as those who are unable to hear the audio due to background noise. The vast majority of our video content is subtitled.

Volume controllers

On your computer, tablet, or mobile device, you can adjust the volume. For each video and audio source, there are additional volume controls. To improve your viewing experience, experiment with changing the volume on your smartphone and media players. If none of the choices above fit your requirements, please contact the kids dentist at 702-454-1008.
